Changelog
Figma Plugin v63 & Studio Plugin v3.0.0, September 28, 2026
Before you send
- Sign in once more: close and reopen the Figma plugin, then click Logout and Login with Roblox. Code and Live are ready as soon as you do, ZIP export works right away, and your license and uploaded images stay exactly as they are
- Choose an Image owner before your first Code or Live Send with images. The plugin asks once and remembers your choice
- Update the Studio plugin to v3.0.0. Live needs it, and Code and ZIP need it for everything below to work. Turn on Auto Update (Plugins → Manage Plugins) or check the version at the bottom of the plugin’s Settings page
- Re-importing an existing design can add or rename some layers, because more of your design now stays editable. If your scripts find UI by name, check them after re-importing, and use full Replace when upgrading an existing layout
New
- New Artwork layers setting. Automatic stays the default. Choose Preserve layers to keep more Figma layers separate with their names and stacking order: supported layers stay editable in Studio, while unsupported looks and some combined decoration arrive as images. Structure shows anything worth a look before you send
- New Separate choice under Artwork layers. It keeps your UI editable while combining complex decorations
- You can now copy the activity log, to paste it into a bug report. Copy log includes the full text of error messages
- Choose who owns the images you upload: Personal or one of your Roblox Groups, under Image owner in Code and Live. Manage lets you add more Groups. Images sent to a Group belong to that Group, and you need permission to create items there
- Artwork that uses blend modes such as Overlay or Multiply now matches its Figma colors in every artwork mode, even over see-through backgrounds. There is nothing to turn on
- Blended shapes, bars and thin dividers match their Figma colors in Automatic too
- Blended text stays editable. Supported colors match over one solid color; unsupported gradient/blend combinations keep their original colors, with a Structure warning
- Text covered by a blended layer moves on top where it can, so it stays readable, and Structure tells you when it cannot
- Drop shadows follow the shape of what casts them, just like in Figma: a glow on a group or frame around an icon, a ring or text arrives as a soft shadow behind the layers, which stay editable
- Hard drop shadows on text now come through as a matching shadow copy behind the text. Edit both when the text changes. Structure tells you about any shadow Roblox cannot show
- Structure updates as soon as you change a layer’s class, expands like the Roblox Explorer, and points out more of what Roblox cannot show, so there are no surprises after import, and a Send now warns you when one layer would arrive twice under the same parent
- Structure points out most blends that cannot include what is behind them, and how to fix them
- The website and docs are now available in Thai. Switch language from the header
Preserve layers
- Blended groups import as one image that matches Figma, borders included
- Rotated or flipped decoration with blends arrives as one image that matches Figma
- Decorative groups with a blur keep their soft glow, while text and buttons stay editable
- Circular and evenly rounded masks stay editable clips, and most other masks are built into the images so the result matches Figma. Structure points out any mask worth a look
- More nested rotated masks, and blends below see-through groups, now import correctly. Square and evenly rounded masks can clip a mix of editable UI and images
- Scrolling lists work the same as in Automatic, and repeated cards sit in a grid that grows as you add items
- A partial Send that would move layers across a mask asks you to use full Replace, so your masked layout stays intact
- Sending again while the plugin stays open reuses the images that did not change, so a second Send of a large layered design is much quicker
- Groups you named as an image no longer show up as missing images when everything inside them imported
- Masked or blended decoration in nested groups matches Figma
More accurate imports
- Layers with several solid or gradient fills now stay editable in Studio, and a texture over a gradient keeps the gradient editable
- Layers with more than one border keep every border. Structure points out borders Roblox can only approximate
- Panels with blended fills keep their cards, borders and corners editable. Only the part that needs the blend becomes an image
- Circular icon backgrounds, shapes with individual corner radii and smoothed corners keep their round outlines
- Masked shapes, stars and polygons fill their box, clickable layers with a shadow keep their own size, and rotated images with a masked glow stay inside their mask
- Layers that blend with the background inside a Figma Section now import complete
- Rows of six or more identical decorative items (icon slots, stars, pips) now import each piece once, in its place
- Artwork groups that contain a hidden layer (for example a hidden text label) now import with their image
- Text layers that mix fonts now import with each font in place, and keep uppercase, title case and text size when one word in a label is bold
- Boolean shapes keep their text cutouts and combined look, and slanted shapes keep their slant
- Blended artwork keeps its Figma colors even if you later recolor or hide the background in Studio
- Overlay borders, and stripes over masked panels, match Figma
- Buttons with a glow or outer stroke line up perfectly with their labels
- Masked artwork over a textured background keeps its own clean look
- Blended artwork inside flipped buttons keeps its true colors
- Everything inside a flipped group lands right where Figma shows it
- Blended artwork stays complete on every item in an auto-layout row or column
- One-line labels in Offset mode and SurfaceGui exports show every letter
- Text with a color layered over a linear gradient matches Figma, stroke included
- Text stays editable in almost every case, including emoji, slanted text, masked text and text with effects. Structure lists anything Roblox draws a little differently
- Text layers named with a container type such as
_Framenow import as text
Scrolling and grids
- Structure spots a scroll area that extends past its panel and offers Fix to fit it, keeping its items and scrolling. Reset undoes it, and your Figma layout stays as it is
- Scroll areas with same-size cards placed by hand in an even grid now import as a real grid, so cards you add in Studio scroll too
- Scrolling grids leave room for card borders, so the last row is no longer cut off at the bottom
- Grids of masked cards sit flush, and a grid that already fits no longer scrolls
- Scroll areas named with
_ScrollingFrameor_scrolland clipped by a rounded or circular mask keep their rounded edge in every artwork mode, and everything inside stays editable and scrolls - Shadows on frames that clip, scroll or use auto layout stay outside the clip and never join the layout
- Designs where artwork spills past a list item send in one click
Images and uploads
- A Send can now carry up to 1,000 different images, twice as many as before, and copies of the same image count once. If a design is over the limit, the plugin tells you before it starts
- Large Sends upload faster, and long uploads now finish reliably
- The plugin waits for Roblox’s moderation result and tells you when an image is still under review
- The Images panel fills in while a Send or export runs, then shows exactly which images were sent
- Image previews load faster on large designs and stay in place when you switch between Live, Code and ZIP
- Sending again while the plugin is open reuses images that did not change, so repeat Sends are faster. Edited layers are always refreshed
- A ×N backdrops badge shows when one blended layer is sent once for each background it sits on
- In Preserve layers, preview thumbnails show masked layers in full. The Send still clips them
- Making the plugin window taller gives the extra height to the images panel, and making it wider fits more images per row
- Large image previews appear progressively when you switch Artwork layers
- ZIP exports automatically shorten long image filenames so Roblox Asset Manager can upload them and Scan can still match each image
Plugin window
- The image list, the Structure tab and the summary above the Send button now match the frame and the settings you have selected
- FigBloxUI rests while its window is in the background and refreshes the preview when you come back
- The Settings title and close button stay in view while you scroll the settings
Account and sign-in
- Export messages now say what happened and what to click next, including Roblox Group permissions, and Studio connection help points to the right setting (Plugins → Manage Plugins)
- Sending from one FigBloxUI window keeps working after you log in again or press Manage in another window with the same Roblox account
Safer exports
- Exports tidy up their temporary layers, even if the plugin closes mid-export, and leave your design’s clipping and visibility exactly as they were. If you edit a temporary copy while an image is rendering, the plugin keeps it and lists it with Show layer and Check again
- You can now review and remove leftover export copies right in the plugin
Studio plugin
- Choosing Keep Both again for the same design adds another copy (for example
Shop_copy2), and each copy keeps the Offset or Scaled mode it was exported with - Scaled imports with masked or clipped frames now fill the screen
- Hovering an image in the Studio plugin’s image list outlines where it is used, while lists and grids stay in place
- A refreshed FigBloxUI logo on the website and in the Studio plugin toolbar
- Button grids in Offset mode keep all their Figma columns in Studio
- Switching Offset or Scaled in Paste Code now keeps text sizing consistent when importing again
Figma Plugin v62 & Studio Plugin v2.5.3, September 7, 2026
New
- Structure tab shows the ScreenGui tree your export will create, with Studio class icons and anything worth checking before you send
- Report bug sends a section’s layer structure, your notes, and screenshots straight from the plugin, and gives you a code to quote on Discord
- Drop shadows and mixed corner radii now import as editable
UIShadowandUICornerby default. Turn off Native shadows and corners in Settings to flatten them as before - Name a container
_uilistor_uigridto choose its layout, and set a maximum column count and item spacing without changing the Figma design
Scrolling and grids
- Scrolling panels keep visible borders and hold content inside rounded corners while scrolling
- Scrolling lists and grids grow and shrink with their items using native Roblox layout, with no injected runtime scripts
- Scrolling lists follow Figma’s Clip content setting instead of always adding a rounded mask
- Wrapped grids keep their Figma card sizes and no longer lose a column when there is spare space
- Fixed scrolling to newly added rows in grids with padding, and
_scrollx/_scrollybeing ignored on grids with uneven cells - Fixed Scaled imports shrinking the whole interface when a design contains a scrolling list that does not clip its content
More accurate imports
- Frames with Clip content turned off keep their overflowing content, borders included
- Borders on frames with children no longer render with the wrong thickness and corner radius in Scaled mode, especially after re-importing a selection
- Shadows on text buttons and labels are no longer dropped during import
- Faint text outlines and borders keep their Figma opacity, and outline-only text no longer gains a fill
- Masked artwork, rotated icons with glow, and backgrounds with offset shadows stay in their Figma positions
- Scaled imports keep short captions on one line and at their intended size
- Vector artwork assigned as a TextButton keeps its Figma shape, including on re-import
- Faint blended outlines no longer flatten a whole card into one image, so its layers stay editable
- Background, Texture and Overlay layers stay separate when Roblox can render them
- Fixed shop-style layouts baking the full background into the header image
- Stroked frames get a plain
UIStrokeunless a child actually covers the border, soframe.UIStrokeworks from scripts
Safer imports
- Undo now restores your UI after an import or a layout replacement
- A failed replace or merge leaves your previous UI in place instead of a half-updated tree
- An import with a missing or invalid source ID can no longer remove unrelated UI, and a partial import no longer merges into a ScreenGui you built yourself just because it shares a name
- Fixed the Replace and “Replace & switch” answers being ignored by ZIP and Code imports
Studio plugin
- Live mode connects even when Allow HTTP Requests is off in Experience Settings, so there is no setting to turn on before you start
- Live import explains when you need to sign in again or update the plugin, and shows the real reason instead of a generic “connection lost”
- Fixed the plugin refusing every import after an interrupted merge, which previously needed a restart
- Fixed a license key failing to activate when the Roblox account was linked to a different Figma account
- The Available Images gallery no longer freezes when many objects are added or removed
- The Clear code button is larger and sits above the pasted code
Worth knowing
- Scrolling panels now import with a small wrapper around the scrolling frame. If your scripts reference a scrolling frame by path, check those paths after re-importing, and use full Replace when upgrading an existing layout
- Since August 2026 Roblox clips rotated elements to their parent frame, the same way Figma does. A rotated decoration that used to overflow may now look cut off; that is an engine change, not the import. See Troubleshooting to let it overflow again
Figma Plugin v61, July 20, 2026
Improved
- A brief Studio disconnect during a partial re-import no longer forces you to restart the export. The plugin now retries automatically
Figma Plugin v60 & Studio Plugin v2.5.0, July 17, 2026
More accurate imports
- Position, size, rotation, spacing, strokes, opacity, and nested elements now match Figma more closely
- Offset and Scaled modes produce more consistent results across Live, Code, and ZIP imports
- Auto Layout, grids, scrolling content, and rotated elements keep their intended layout more reliably
- Editable Roblox text now fits its Figma text frame more closely
Safer re-imports
- Merge mode can restore missing elements without removing unrelated work already in Studio
- Imported metadata is stored more cleanly and can be removed with Clean Attributes when the UI is ready to deliver
- Cleaning attributes does not change the UI’s appearance, but future Merge or re-import matching will require a fresh import
Figma Plugin v59 & Studio Plugin v2.4.0, July 9, 2026
Improved
- Imported layers now match your Figma tree: real layer names (no “Image” placeholders), exact casing, no redundant wrapper frames, and vector and icon layers are preserved instead of flattened into one image
Fixed
- Importing a design that shares a name with a ScreenGui you already have now asks whether to replace it, keep both, or cancel, so nothing you built is overwritten by accident
- Fixed a rare export error (“Detached clone type mismatch”) that could stop certain designs from exporting
Figma Plugin v58 & Studio Plugin v2.3.0, July 7, 2026
New
- “Fixed text size” setting: keep each text at its exact Figma size instead of auto-scaling to fit its box
- “Export as SurfaceGui” setting: place your design on a Part in the 3D world instead of StarterGui
- Convert imported UIs both ways from the Studio panel: SurfaceGui to ScreenGui, or ScreenGui onto a Part
- First-run notice explaining Roblox image moderation, plus clearer error messages and docs
Fixed
- Texture and pattern layers (tiled stud fills, blend-mode overlays) no longer disappear on import
- Image panel showed duplicate images and could get stuck on “Loading…” after switching Offset/Scaled
- Exporting a group of overlapping shapes no longer duplicates the combined image in every piece
- Fixed license errors when switching between your Roblox accounts
- Robux subscribers with a disconnected Roblox login no longer get locked out (“Trial ended”)
- If your Roblox session expires mid-upload, the plugin asks you to log in again instead of failing silently
Figma Plugin v57, June 13, 2026
Fixed
- Images no longer fail to upload partway through with a login error. The plugin now refreshes your Roblox session automatically mid-upload
- Clearer messages when an upload is blocked: if Roblox is reviewing or flagged an image, you get a direct link on how to appeal, and login hiccups now just say to press Send again
Figma Plugin v56 & Studio Plugin v2.2.2, June 12, 2026
Fixed
- Scrollable areas now scroll the way you set them in Figma, and normal frames no longer turn into scrolling ones by mistake
- Scrollable lists keep all their items; just scroll to see the rest
- Fade effects and decorations inside masked groups no longer go missing
- Button text no longer hides behind glow and shadow effects
Smoother
- The plugin feels much smoother on big designs: picking sections, editing, and browsing images
- Fixed the plugin getting stuck when Send is clicked twice
- Clear warning before sending when Roblox Studio is not connected
License
- See how many days are left on your subscription or gift, right in the plugin
Studio Plugin v2.2.2
- Connects only while its panel is open, so it stays light in the background

- Updated native Roblox UI export support.
Figma Plugin v51, May 7, 2026
Layout

- Side-by-side panels in horizontal auto-layout fit inside their parent without wrapping
Figma Plugin v50 & Studio Plugin v2.0.7, April 29, 2026
Image quality
- Removes the dark halo that could appear around rounded corners and soft transparent edges
- Rotated rectangles in Figma now import with their correct size and rotation
- ZIP exports run the same edge cleanup as Code and Live mode (used to skip it)
Layout
- List items keep their Figma order in Studio (was sorting alphabetically)
- Wrapper frames inside scroll frames keep proper height when no layout is present
New Settings panel (⚙)
- Toggle Clean image edges (Pixfix) on or off
- Switch between Full (964×700) and Compact (380×700, sidebar hidden) plugin size for narrow Figma windows
- Both choices persist across plugin reopen
Version 49 on April 26, 2026
Fixed
- Scrollable grids lay out as designed instead of stacking into one column
- Thin strokes show at their designed thickness
- Strokes on scrollable panels stay flush with their background
- Card backgrounds with outer strokes fill cleanly to the edge
- Gradient and image fills honor their Figma opacity
- Group elements keep their designed positions
- Decorative graphics stay within their button area
- Item rows with multiple labels keep each label at its designed position
Figma Plugin v48 & Studio Plugin v2.0.6, April 26, 2026
Imports default to pixel-exact
- New imports start in Offset mode by default, designs match Figma pixel-for-pixel
- Switch to Scaled mode for responsive sizing across player viewports
Scrollable panels & responsive layout
- Items inside scrollable panels render at their designed size on smaller viewports
- Text inside Scaled imports stays the right size on phones and tablets
- Switching between Offset and Scaled modes is now reliable, no leftover scaling artifacts on the imported UI
Studio editor UX
- Resize tool stretches a single edge freely in Offset mode (was locking the aspect ratio)
- Items inside scroll lists keep their pixel-perfect size when you resize the frame
- Item spacing in Offset imports now matches Figma exactly
- Loading a JSON file no longer leaves the previous import’s mode stuck on the toggle
- Imported ScreenGui auto-expands in the Explorer panel, no more clicking the disclosure triangle
- Offset/Scaled toggle remembers its setting between plugin reloads
Figma Plugin v46 & Studio Plugin v2.0.5, April 23, 2026
Responsive UI (Scale mode)
- Scrollable panels keep all content visible when the window shrinks, no more cut-off edges on smaller viewports
- Text scales proportionally with its container instead of staying at pixel size on phones/tablets
Borders & dividers
- Panel borders no longer get cut off at the top or left of a scrollable area
- Thin divider lines render at their designed size
Images
- Character art and decorations that extend past their card bounds render at the correct size and position
- Empty image placeholders (icon slots, thumbnails) are kept in the import instead of being dropped
- Changing an image size in Figma produces a fresh upload, no stale cached version
Figma Plugin v45 & Studio Plugin v2.0.3, April 19, 2026
This update focuses on making Figma → Roblox imports “just work,” even when long filenames and long uploads used to break things silently.
Scan & auto-match
- Image filenames now lead with the Figma node ID, so Asset Manager’s name truncation no longer breaks Scan in Studio
Export stability
- Send to Roblox no longer fails mid-upload, soft warning first, longer hard cutoff
- Blank images no longer leave empty placeholders or block the export
- Re-exports now re-render images correctly when the design changes
Polish
- Italic fonts and TextBox text properties preserved correctly
